Transline supports the “Pure Water for Generations” film project:

2467 km – a journey from Munich to the Black Sea

This impressive documentary portrays Pascal Rösler's extraordinary 63-day trip (see news from September). The film depicts how industrialisation, development of rivers and plastic rubbish are putting a strain on our environment. Global protection of water as the basis of human life is extremely important to us, and therefore Transline made a donation to support the realisation of this film project.

Last summer, the 44-year-old from Munich paddled for a total of 360 hours on his stand-up paddleboard (SUP). 600,000 paddle strokes and one superb beard later, he had collected donations totalling over 30,000 Euros. These donations will be used for the river renaturation and water education programmes that Pascal Rösler and his charity organisation “Pure Water for Generations e.V.” support.

A two-person film crew followed Pascal Rösler on his journey. The result is an eight-part documentary with gripping nature footage, showing Pascal Rösler's experiences, encounters and emotions in detail.

The premiere on 8 February 2018 at 8 p.m. at the Mathäser Filmpalast cinema in Munich will show all eight parts of the documentary in their full length. Bavaria's Minister for the Environment, Ulrike Scharf, will launch the event. After the showing, Pascal Rösler will lead a discussion with renowned conservationists and environmental activists about what we can and should do to protect our water.
