transact® Software Toolbox

transact® is a software toolbox designed by Transline, which makes workflow automation like this possible. As the technical basis for the workflow, transact® provides an extensive package of software functions that are custom combined per the customer's specifications and adapted to the particular requirements. Every step in the translation and revision workflow process capable of being formulated in logic can be automated with it. The goal is to be able to overcome increased order volumes by means of optimised processes and at the same time to make sure that you receive qualitatively superior translations at fair and transparent prices in the shortest project run times possible.

Interfacing with the Across Translation Memory System

The new system includes a project management feature that checks on a daily basis every document present in the workflow for the status of the work. The result is documented and made available to you. This, then, is particularly important to you the customer when other partners, such as external proofers or print shops, are involved. Here, transact® and the philosophy of the Across Language Server complement each other; the server, based on its open interfaces and with its wide-ranging features, contributes to the increased efficiency of the total package.
