Albanian Translations from Transline

The Albanian language represents a stand-alone branch of the Indo-European linguistical group and is currently spoken by about 6 to 7 million people. It is based on the Latin alphabet and contains many terms borrowed from the Latin, Old Greek and some modern European languages like the French and the Italian. Albanian is the official language in Albania proper and the independent republic of Kosovo since the year 2008. In addition, Albanian enjoys official status in Macedonia and Montenegro, while it is a recognised minority language in Serbia and Italy.

For translations into the Albanian it is not inconsequential that the spoken language is divided, to some extent, into dialects that differ distinctly from one another. The Albanian language area is therefore divided into a northern zone in which the Gheg dialect is spoken and a southern zone where the Tosk dialect is spoken. Indeed, the modern written language was developed in the middle of the last century based on the Tosk dialect, however morphological differences still exist and vocabularies differ from one another in individual cases as well.

Transline's trained technical translators provide you with Albanian translations of the highest quality, which take the differences into account and optimally meet your requirements.
