Development

In the course of its history, Transline has developed from a translation bureau with two employees to a specialist for technical translations with currently a staff of 100.

The range of services has long since included much more than just mere translation. Today, the following endeavours among others are a part of the portfolio:

  • upstream processes like authoring technical documentation
  • generating layouts (DTP)
  • foreign-language layout
  • prepress
  • system integration: Seamless integration of translation processes by programming relevant interfaces and filters into the editing systems or into the content management systems (CMS).

The field of endeavour has become so widespread in the interim that Transline has propagated a series of spinoffs, i.e. autonomous companies; they are members of the Sturz Gruppe GmbH.

100-percent subsidiaries in France, Spain and the USA were established to undertake translation projects into French, Spanish and English (Transline works with partner companies in all other language areas).

In collaboration with the affiliate and subsidiary companies, Transline covers the entire process chain of global communication – from technical documentation through linguistic translation and cultural adaptation to print-ready foreign-language publication or multilingual Internet presence.
